Easy 3-Step Plan

It's that time of year again where I dust off my bikinis and pack up my sweaters and boots. After a sedentary winter, I decided to get back to the gym about 2 months ago determined to rally and be ready for the summer. I signed up with a new trainer this year who was able to advise me on diet and exercise and off I went. After firing off a fair amount of weight in a short 2 months I figured I'd share what program he had me on.

Supplements

I'm not really a coffee drinker and I'm very sensitive to stimulants so my trainer recommended Niveau CLA in conjunction with my diet. It was a welcome addition as I had never even heard of CLA for cutting fat. Really seems to have worked for me without the negative effects I've found with other gimmicky weight-loss stuff. CLA is a naturally occurring fatty acid found in wild and grass fed meats that helps in a variety of ways to reduce and inhibit fat storage.

Workout

I like to keep my strength up so we did a fair amount of weights mixed in with a sweat dripping HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) regimen. We swapped body parts and this was a 4 day a week deal. In my 3 off days, I would usually do sprints in my local park as opposed to long distance running. I find that sprints really supercharge your fat loss and challenge the body.

Diet

For food, I tried to keep it really simple. Low carb and only healthy fats. This is not always easy but it typically winds up being a lot of wild fish, eggs, poultry, veggies, mixed into several small meals every few hours. It paired well with the supplements I was on and the weight seemed to drip off relatively easily. I only drink water when I'm trying to cut weight and keep the alcohol and fruit and fruit-based drinks to a minimum. Keep processed foods out of the equation and focus on fresh, organic or wild veggies and meats. Hope these tips helped, I know they will work for you just like they did for me.
